For non-personalised items, returns may be accepted in accordance with the applicable return policy, provided that items are unused, in their original condition and returned with the original packaging. Return requests should be submitted promptly after delivery.

Engraving, Fonts & Layout
Engraving placement, font size and layout are adjusted according to the shape and available surface area of each design. Longer names or messages may appear in a smaller size to ensure they fit clearly and securely. The final arrangement may differ slightly from the online preview, as each personalised item is individually prepared for production.
Birthstones & Coloured Stones
Selected jewellery designs can be personalised with coloured stones to represent birthdays, loved ones, anniversaries or simply the colours you love. Stone colour, setting position and quantity depend on the product design. Please note that the appearance of stones may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting and the handcrafted nature of the finished item.

How to place a custom jewellery order

- Send all of your selections to Neatie customer service.
For the material, choose sterling silver, 18 ct white gold, 18 ct yellow gold or 18 ct rose gold, or sterling silver with 18 ct white gold plated, yellow gold plated or rose gold plated finishes. White gold and rose gold are also available material choices.
Optional embedded stones are offered in 12 colours: January garnet, February amethyst, March aquamarine, April clear crystal, May emerald, June light amethyst, July ruby, August peridot, September sapphire, October rose quartz, November yellow topaz and December blue topaz. Please specify where you would like stones embedded when sending your design details.
Choose from eight chain styles: Rolo Chain (the default, free option), Rope Chain, Bar Chain, Box Chain, Wave Twisted Chain, Twisted Chain, Teardrop Flat Chain and Snake Chain.
Photos, text and mottos can be engraved or inscribed on the design. The size of an engraving may be limited by the available space in the shape layout chosen in step 1. You may also upload a custom design and add further instructions.
Shapes, fonts and design notes
Alongside the Neatie shapes page, shapes and fonts may be selected from external sources, including http://www.flaticon.com for shapes and http://www.fontspace.com for fonts. Neatie can cut connected shapes with no floating gaps, add design detailing, and inscribe images, symbols and fonts on a design surface. Almost any requested design can be considered.
For practical making, all parts of a design need to connect in some way; designs with gaps cannot be cut as separate floating pieces. Heavy detailing and inscriptions are not recommended because the result can become crowded. Designs filled with too many crystals or encrusted stones cannot be made. Where a gap cannot be cut, a connecting line may be suggested. The design can also be altered to suit what can be made, or a shape may be made as a 2D version rather than cast so it is easier to inscribe and matches the rest of the design. Neatie will provide a clear “yes” or “no but…” response rather than a simple no.
Custom order pricing
Normally, a piece of jewellery up to 4.5 cm wide is priced at £29.99 or $45. The height varies and is changed proportionally by Neatie’s handmakers to suit the design unless you specify a particular height. The charge is the same within a 4.5 cm width.
- Sterling silver and the Rolo Chain are the default free choices.
- Sterling silver with 18 ct gold plated finish in gold, white gold or rose gold: plus £10 or $16.
- 18 ct gold in gold, white gold or rose gold: plus £150 or $240.
- Other chain styles: plus £5 or $8.
- Stones: £2 or $3.50 each, or £20 or $35 for 10 stones or more.

Daily tip: If you are considering an expensive piece of jewellery, buying during an off period may cost less. Demand is often higher around holidays, especially Valentine’s Day. Buying outside these periods may save money, or you may choose to use it as an investment and sell during a time of higher demand.
